Fake news in the digital era

It was great to talk to MEPs Marietje Schaake, Morten Løkkegaard and Petras Auštrevičius about their latest policy paper on “Fake News in Digital Media”.

Fake news, propaganda, social media, new technology companies: this paper wants to develop a holistic approach toward these different, but interlinked challenges, which have ramifications on the EU’s internal digital single market policies and its domestic and external policies.
